Imo State Governorship Supreme Court Ruling

The story so far: On March 11, 2019, Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) declared the winner of the governorship election.

On January 14th,2020, the supreme court nullifies the election of Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor of Imo state… Declares Hope Uzodimma of the All People’s Congress (APC) as the winner.

On January 17 2020, the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) resolved to stage a protest across the streets of Abuja over the verdict of the supreme court.

On January 29 2020, Imo state speaker, other lawmakers defect to APC barely three weeks after the supreme court sacked Mr Emeka Ihedioha of PDP.

January 31 2020, PDP protests in reaction to the supreme court on Imo state election, submit protest letters to UK and US embassies.

On February 1st 2020, Imo state PDP protested on the supreme court judgment.

On February 7th, Imo state APCon protested on Imo state government verdict Ihedioha fights back and asks that the matter be reviewed.

and today Tuesday the 3rd of March, following the adjournment by the supreme court, the supreme court will be ruling the matter. by 3 pm today the ruling will be declared by the court.
